Technology Classes for Seniors
Disky Chick’s Technology Solutions is offering beginner technology classes for seniors.
They are two 2-hour classes on Sundays from 12:30 -2:20pm at our shop at 39 St. Anne’s Road. To see the next set of dates go to our sign up page (link below).
Our current set of two classes is on using your iPad and/or iPhone.
It’s $45 + GST for two classes.

Our classroom space is shared with our sister business (same owner) Lizzy B’s (a needle art supply and custom picture framing shop; www.lizzyb.ca, as well as cat art gallery; www.gallery39.ca).
**Allergy alert: For larger groups we use the cat art gallery space. There will be no cats in it at the time, but it is their space, so if you have cat allergies it might be a problem for you. Please let us know if this is the case. We use the storefront space for smaller groups, which is cat-free.
We also offer classes in:

– Android OS

We offer classes at your 55+ building if requested, as well as individual lessons.
Individual lessons are $65/hr plus GST at your location, or $55 plus GST at our location or via Zoom.

Multi Embroidery Styles Course
It’s not tech related, but our sister business, Lizzy B’s, offers the following embroidery class:
Are you a cross stitcher who has always wondered about trying different embroidery disciplines? Or maybe you are someone who stitched years ago but hasn’t done it for a long time. Or, maybe stitching is totally new to you. This class is for you!
We’ll give you a taste of four different types of embroidery:
- Canvaswork
- Hardanger
- Surface Embroidery
- Blackwork
In each of the four classes you will learn a bit about one style including the materials used and the most common stitches.
Cost: $85.99 plus GST = $90.29
